We are looking for a passionate and energetic Digital Leads to join our Media Team!

News Producers - 2

Responsibilities

·       Gather information, stories and pieces from team members throughout the day.

·       Collaborate with news director to select and prioritize content

·       Add stories and elements that will make the broadcast more attractive

·       Select footage and sound bites to include in broadcast to ensure consistency

·       Liaise with the production team to keep technical standards high

·       Communicate with the studio crew and anchors while on-air

·       Ensure broadcast is within time limits

·       Produce breaking news reports

·       Coordinate with creative department to develop promotion strategies for upcoming newscasts

·       Perform research on local, national and international affairs to stay updated with current events

·       Ensure production runs on time and on budget

·       Write the scripts or cross verify scripts for news presenters

·       Coordinate live shoot

·       Organize the shows and able to edits videos and vice-over

Requirements and Qualifications

·       Proven work experience as a news producer

·       Degree in journalism, mass communications or relevant field

·       In-depth understanding of the production process

·       Solid experience with digital technology

·       Familiarity with camera operation, sound systems and music editing 

·      Ability to proofread and edit pieces  

·       Excellent organizational and time management skills

·       Ability to perform efficiently under pressure

·       Communication skills

Online Reporters - 4

Responsibilities

·       Responsible for delivering updates and analysis on current happening with the main goal to keep public/ audience updated

·       Keep up with all the local and global happening

·       Cover a wide variety of stories

·       Conduct and schedule interviews

·       Track influencers' work

·       Plan, edit, and write stories and articles

·       Verify information provided by interviewees 

·       Finalize news content 

·       Keep up with deadlines as timeliness is extremely important

·       Follow news events and media sources to stay informed

Requirements and Qualifications

·       Degree in Journalism or relevant field with min 2 years of experience as an online Reporter or similar role

·       Passion about writing and creating interesting stories

·       Technically skilled with Strong knowledge of media processes

·       Excellent communication and research skills

·       Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·       A good Team player with time-management skills

·       Great interpersonal and communication skills

·       Good command on both (Nepali & English) language
