IT Technician
Job Description:
IT Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and upgrading the computer systems and networks. Their day to day responsibilities will include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and application problems. The IT Technician will oversee the smooth running of computer systems and programs whilst ensuring users get maximum benefits from them
Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist IT Technician and support System Administrator in their tasks .
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Monitoring and proactively maintaining computer systems and networks along with servers in cloud
- Replacing parts as required along with maintaining IT inventory system
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Maintain, support and repair technical equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, CCTV and peripherals.
- Supporting for live media streaming and backup system within our office.
- Install and deploy new equipment, and perform hardware/software upgrades and installations
- Research equipment, software or other solutions and recommend improvements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as Computer Technician
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
RHCE/CCNA will be plus point
